This was a big help for my husband after spinal surgery. He's a bi-lateral and he was able to pull himself into bed from wheelchair.
I have ordered 3 to hang from the ceiling where I cannot put grab bars. Plus I ordered one for my 90 year old aunt to help her in shower.
I have MS and usually I'm okay getting in and out of bed but last week I had a surprise fever and got suck and had to call a family member very late at night. Now I have this and it's brilliant! Simple, sturdy, does what it needs to without being annoying in the bed. I live alone and this will keep me safe for those unexpected moments. I was considering a bed rail but that would be really annoying and cumbersome. This is way cheaper and if I don't want to use it I can stick it in a drawer!
It’s been great! First night I didn’t have this at home post op., day 4 and was tugging on anything I could reach for to pull myself up. Including my husbands shoulder/arm in the middle of the night. It easily attached and latched together at the foot of my queen bed, lays in the middle and is easy to use. Feels snug and secure for pulling all my weight up. Should help my healing too because I am avoiding putting unnecessary tension on my incision.
